![]() I also want to praise the director and writer for making the story fun but not cringey, romantic and cute but not corny, mature but not dramatic and absolutely musically amazing. ![]() I love that they didn’t cower from societal pressures and stood their ground. I really love how mature the relationship is. It's not cringy and has a really good storyline. The drama had really good aesthetics and locations, especially the university scenes. This is definitely a drama I would strongly recommend. I especially love Never Stop, which was sung by the female lead both the acoustic and rock version. And although I’m not a huge fan of drama OSTs, this one had really great songs. Production and cinematography is superb and the dubbing is also good. Lin Yi and Lulu Xu had a really good chemistry and their acting was really good. This is probably one of my favorite dramas that came out of the first half of 2021. I’m sure he is a great actor, he is just not the image I was hoping for. At First I wasn’t really sold about him, cause appearance wise, he looked way older than most of the other cast. I really love the cast, even Hu Bing who played Ding Jia Yun. I mentioned on my first impression blog that I started this drama because of Lin Yi and I was not disappointed. She is a famous comedian but has a more recluse and sad life outside the limelight. Shan Shan experienced a traumatic betrayal during college and ever since then she has become a shell of who she was before. She is also a songwriter who often writes songs with Liang Chen while they were in university. Shan Shan is Liang Chen’s former college roommate and best friend. I experienced that quite a few times in the drama.I’ll try not to spoil too much but the story caught me off guard more than once or twice. When you expect an outcome to a certain situation, you’d think its the worst but it actually isn't and it turns out you were just psyching yourself. Like when you think so badly of that one character and expect the worst of that character but turns out that person is much better and I mean better than you thought. You should choose what is best for you.Since you are confident with our future, then you have to believe that our relationship will be able to stand the test.”Ĭertain parts of the drama draws you in thinking that its gonna be one of those cliches but then a sudden change of direction caughts you off guard. “I don’t want to be the person who disrupts your original life plan. Although this is a love story between a human and a half-vampire, I don’t think it’s that different.Episode 24 is definitely one of my favorite episodes in the entire drama as it made their relationship as strong as ever and then Liang Chen really got me fangirling over her. Won says: “While our drama series is a love story between a human being and a half-vampire, when it comes to love, whether it’s something you strive to find or something that just comes to you without warning, it is a part of life that resonates with many people. Despite their ill-fated first meeting, In-hae and Woo-hyul warm up to each other. ![]() (2021), plays the female lead In-hae, who cultivated a tough-as-nails demeanour through years of struggling to make ends meet. ![]() Won, 23, who made her television debut in military-themed drama D.P. That’s a memorable scene because I didn’t think Ji-an would actually bite me, but she did.” But he’s the one who gets bitten and faints. He explains: “When Woo-hyul realises he was awakened a day earlier than intended, he gets mad at In-hae, the person who woke him up, and tries to bite her and drink her blood. The first episode depicts Woo-hyul waking up from a century-long sleep in his coffin, only to find out he was one day short of transforming into a human. ![]()
